1300nm SWIR Image Sensor Material
VisEra works with NYUST for developing short-wave infrared photodetector.
Since 2022, the R&D team at VisEra has been engaged in a fruitful collaboration with Prof. Chien-Chung Shih from the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (NYUST). This partnership focuses on the development of high-performance, large-area shortwave IR organic photodiodes using ultra-low-band gap conjugated polymers. Prof. Shih, who has been honored with the prestigious 2030 Young Scholar Fellowship from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), brings a wealth of expertise and innovation to this project, especially in the field of next-generation organic electronics. His significant research contributions, which include publications in esteemed journals such as Nature, Science, Adv. Funct. Mater., and ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, have garnered over 1800 citations and an H-index exceeding 25.
