What is On Chip Multi-Film (OCMF) ?
On Chip Multi-Film selects the light band passing into the sensor. General sensors allow light with all wavelength to pass (including UV light, visible light, near infrared light). Using VisEra’s Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process, we can add multiple films on the sensor to make light band selective. For example, the IR cut film can block infrared band for ambient light sensor application.

VisEra provides one-stop wafer level Multi-Film solution, which have benefits on optical assembly, Z-height shrinkage, and cost effective purposes. Based on customer’s requirement, we provide multiple optical solutions on wafer to support the variety of functions, and are capable of integrating organic process (e.g. Color Filter and Micro-Lens process).
