In recent years, international sustainability disclosure frameworks have been increasingly integrated, placing greater emphasis on assessing sustainability’s impact on financial performance. As a result, sustainability information must now be disclosed alongside financial reports. This shift not only strengthens the integration of sustainability within traditional capital structures, but also seamlessly reinforces sustainability’s ‘standard-ness’ within corporate operations. In other words, sustainability reporting is no longer an optional supplement but a critical, rigorously compiled component of corporate disclosures, on par with annual financial statements.

At its core, corporate sustainability remains a business endeavor. While rigorous and structured, it should also retain a human touch. In 2023, Farglory Group took a bold approach with our independently published Sustainability Highlight Report, building on the GRI disclosure framework while emphasizing storytelling. The report features a softer, more accessible writing style, complemented by visually engaging design and imagery to guide readers through key insights. By breaking away from the often dense and monotonous nature of traditional sustainability reports, Farglory Group aims to embody the guiding principle: "Data. Speed. Storytelling."

Conveying governance principles through storytelling

In addition to our storytelling approach, Farglory Group upholds high disclosure standards in line with the GRI framework. The report integrates performance data from the Group’s nine subsidiaries, tracking progress on 48 ESG KPIs while categorizing key initiatives under the three pillars of governance, environment, and society. This structured approach provides readers with a clear and comprehensive roadmap of Farglory’s sustainability efforts. Moving forward, we remain committed to the 10 key GRI principles, ensuring a balanced disclosure of both achievements and challenges. Our goal is to present the most authentic Farglory—not just the most flawless one.
